Last season, my best tour was one afternoon with an excellent group of six guests
Last season, I experienced an unforgettable moment that I will cherish for life. As the owner of Boat Tour Adriatic, I spend every day at sea with various guests, but one afternoon stood out in particular. It was a day filled with laughter, adventure, and stunning natural beauty.
The tour started at 4 PM, and the sun was shining in the sky, promising a perfect summer atmosphere. Guests gathered on the shore, among them were six wonderful people who immediately created a relaxed and cheerful vibe. I always love when guests connect with each other, as it makes every tour more special. In this case, it was an excellent group that quickly began chatting and laughing.
After a brief introduction, we headed towards the island of Ošljak. As we sailed, we enjoyed the view of the blue sea and the greenery of the coast. I felt happy knowing that I would share an unforgettable experience with this group. When we arrived at Ošljak, we stopped in a beautiful cove. The water was crystal clear, and the sun illuminated everything around us. It was the perfect opportunity for swimming and diving.
In the cove, we jumped off the boat, and the excitement grew with each leap. Diving added a new dimension to our experience. Guests were having fun exploring the underwater world, and I enjoyed their smiles and cheerful shouts. As a skipper, I always strive to create a relaxed atmosphere, so I joined the guests in the water, sharing moments of enjoyment.
After we had enough fun, we decided to raise a toast. Since I was the skipper, I poured myself only a little liqueur, while my guests could freely enjoy liqueurs, beer, and cola. This freedom to indulge contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. Everyone felt at ease, and laughter and conversation filled the air.
Our third stop on the tour was at Ošljak, where we stopped at a small bar. There, we raised another toast and enjoyed traditional fish dishes. Sardines and squid were fresh and delicious, and the price was more than reasonable. I always try to choose the best places for my guests, and this time it turned out to be a hit.
Throughout the journey, we entertained ourselves, sharing life experiences and stories. One of the female guests,Naomi told me that she had been on my tour before, with her parents, and that’s why she chose me again. That was a lovely compliment that filled me with pride. I felt that everyone was having a great time and that the atmosphere was truly special.
As the sunset approached, we decided to end the tour by watching that beautiful sight. The sun slowly sank into the sea, creating a breathtaking spectacle of colors. We all gathered on the deck, quietly watching the day fade away. In those moments, everyone felt sad that the adventure was ending, but also happy for all the memories we had created.
After the tour concluded, we decided to go together to my local café, Macao. There, we socialized, laughed, and drank until midnight. The atmosphere was relaxed, and conversations continued in a casual setting. I felt like part of their group, and this once again showed how special the connections formed during such tours can be.
At the end of the evening, I had to leave early because I had a morning tour waiting for me the next day. But before I left, we created a WhatsApp group to stay in touch. Long after the tour, we would occasionally chat and exchange messages. This connection filled me with joy and pride.
I remember that day with a smile. I would love to gather again and relive that adventure. A shoutout to my best crew! These memories make my job special, and each new guest brings a new story. I always look forward to new tours and the people I will meet at sea. Every tour is a new chance to create unforgettable moments, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to share them with others.
The sea breeze in my hair, the sun on my face, and the smiles of my guests—these are the moments that give me energy and motivation. That’s why I look forward to every new summer season, new adventures, and, of course, new friendships that will be formed at sea.
